BIOGRAPHY

Helen Leadbetter is the Technical Strategy Lead for Zero Emission Flight at the UK Civil Aviation Authority, where she oversees the Hydrogen Challenge programme. She collaborates with government, industry and academia to assess hydrogen-related risks and shape future aviation policies through testing and demonstration.

Helen previously worked at the Aerospace Technology Institute on the FlyZero project, advancing research into zero-carbon commercial flight. Her expertise spans hydrogen infrastructure, operations and sustainable innovations across airports, airlines and airspace.
