BIOGRAPHY

Andreas Bachmeier is the Head of Business Development and Energy Transition at Clariant, leading strategy within the Catalyst Business Unit. Since joining in 2015, he has contributed to catalyst sales, technical service, commercial excellence, and corporate strategy, before assuming his current role in 2023.

Andreas oversees Clariant’s global fuel cell catalyst business and drives the commercialisation of catalyst solutions for sustainable methanol, ammonia cracking, and sustainable aviation fuels. His work supports Clariant’s mission to enable cleaner energy and advance low-carbon technologies worldwide.
